Mindful Swimming is coming to Eton

Discover a calmer, easier way to swim through The EazeFlo Method. Learn how to work with the water instead of fighting against it.

Is your swimming experience still not what it could be? You find yourself saying “I can swim….just not very well”

Does this sound familiar?

You’re out of breath after just one or two lengths, wondering where your stamina has gone. You can run, you can walk, but for some reason, as soon as you get into the water, your fitness seems to disappear. You push and try harder, but everything just feels difficult. It feels like you're fighting the water rather than flowing with it.

You’re not confident putting your face in the water or you wouldn’t even know where to start when it comes to breathing. You find yourself wondering how everyone else manages to maintain a steady breathing pattern… they don’t even look tired!

You leave the pool feeling worn out, exhausted and defeated, with little desire to come back anytime soon.

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone.

So many adults have never been shown how to move with the water instead of against it. They’ve never been taught how to swim in a way that feels calm, effortless and enjoyable.

Mindful Swimming is coming to Eton

Meet Will Pearce

The EazeFlo Experience will be led by Will Pearce, an experienced swimming teacher with 20 years of teaching behind him.

Throughout his career, Will has always understood the importance of relaxation, calm and working with the water rather than fighting against it, making the philosophy behind The EazeFlo Method a natural fit for his approach to teaching.

Now, with two young children at home and an increasingly busy life, the principles of Mindful Swimming have taken on even more meaning for Will. He understands first-hand just how valuable it can be to have time in the water where you can slow everything down, reconnect with your breath and simply focus on yourself.

Will is excited to bring The EazeFlo Method to Eton College and to help more swimmers discover a calmer, easier and more enjoyable way to move through the water.

Whether you feel tense or breathless when you swim, want to improve your technique, or simply want to experience swimming in a completely different way, Will will meet you where you are and guide you through the experience.

Ready to experience EazeFlo for yourself?

What if I told you, things didn’t have to be this way…

You can swim with as much ease and flow as the next person because this truly isn’t about stamina. It isn’t about how fit you are or how much time you’ve spent in the water. This is about your connection with the water and your connection with yourself.

The EazeFlo Method is a mindful approach to swimming that teaches you to work with the water instead of fighting against it. Through breath, body awareness, movement and relaxation, you'll discover a calmer, easier way to swim, transforming it from something exhausting into something restorative and enjoyable.

Mindful Swimming is about swimming in a way that feels good for you. It is a very individualised journey. There is no wrong way to swim, just your way. With an understanding of the characteristics of water, combined with your breath and intentional movement, you can begin to swim in a way that feels restorative and healing, building not only your physical fitness but your mental wellbeing too.

The EazeFlo Method is built on one simple belief: swimming shouldn't leave you exhausted. It should leave you feeling calmer, lighter and more connected to yourself. By combining mindful awareness, efficient movement and an understanding of how water naturally supports the body, the EazeFlo Method helps adults replace struggle with ease, effort with efficiency and fear with confidence.

Client Reviews

“Lauren’s swimming classes have literally changed my life. I can’t recommend her enough. Her gentle yet effective approach not only will totally transform the way you breath under water and enhance your swimming skills, but what she teaches you and the experience in the water will “spill” through other aspects of life too. This is truly amazing. I had done so many mindfulness classes (not in water) and it never had really “clicked”. Probably the best investment of my time and money this year!”

Mindful swimming helps to trust the water and gain confidence in swimming. It calms the body and is a form of meditation which is in itself is helpful. Thanks Lauren

- Isobel

Lauren has always been encouraging and for an adult returning to the water after along time away this has been fundamental to me getting confidence. So chilled… thanks Lauren

- John

“I am a woman past forties and I have tried to learn to swim for a very long time. After a few failed attempts I am so grateful to have found Mindful swimming. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to gain more confidence in the water.”

- Umu

I signed up for mindful swimming not really knowing what to expect — half imagining I’d just be floating around for an hour. What I actually found was something incredibly powerful. Lauren has guided me to truly tune into both my body and mind through breathing, while also helping me develop a strong swimming technique. It’s given me the confidence to start going to my local pool independently — something I would never have done before.
